So I figured something out today:

I absolutely do not want to go back to tae kwan do.

I mean, I love the idea of it. Sure I'd like to be in shape. Sure I'd like to get proper exercise for the first time in three years. Sure I'd like to be healthy. And I'd certainly like to possess the ability to beat the living shit out of those creep jobs around Paseo and Old Town. 

But honestly?

I am NOT ready for the Chinese water torture I remember it being. Did I mention I haven't exercised properly in THREE YEARS? Yeah, Freshman and Sophomore year PE totally DO NOT COUNT. Before I left tae kwan do, I was able to do REALLY good splits. Like, good for me. I was MAYBE three inches off the ground. Seriously. I just tried doing the splits about twenty seconds ago.

Oh dear fucking God.

A. It hurt like a MOTHERFUCKER.
B. I was like three FEET off the ground.

I am SO beyond screwed.

On the plus side, Psych comes back tonight! And THE DARK KNIGHT is out and alive and amazing super uber duper awesome beyond words x10000 from what I hear. I don't actually get to see it until tomorrow due to ride issues, but there aren't even words to DESCRIBE my excitement. And PSYCH (got sidetracked)! Oh, my love, how I've missed you. Plus, Burn Notice started again last week, and the recent episodes haven't let me down. Not that I expected them to. But second seasons can be like that. Sometimes they carry the momentum of the awesome first season (as was the case with shows like Psych and another love of mine, Alias), or it can suffer from heart failure and die painfully (y hello thar Heroes). So I'm happy to see that it's doing well.

So I've been having conflicts writing recently. Like, I have all these ideas, coupled with really terrible followthrough. Like, I have some ideas that I really LOVE for Faith, things that will probably make it a lot more mature writing-wise and just plain...better. And I've had Collide planned out since the very beginning. I've known exactly how it was supposed to go all along  (with some minor alterations in between). I have ideas for a cute little oneshot romp with Kid Flash and Jinx. I started out (and can't seem to finish) a smexy Robin and Starfire AU thing, that I've loved for a really long time but never really put onto paper. I have at least three concepts for Little Ties prompts, except that this one with Robin is infuriating me with how impossible it is, yet I want to do it SO badly that I just refuse to give up. And then of course there's the full-length Kid Flash and Jinx adventure story of AWESOME that I've had bouncing around my head. I adore the idea, but again...the actual 'committing it to a word document' thing is a serious conflict. I even word-warred with Cid recently and I could only get out like 200 words, after getting frustrated with and deleting my first attempt at...oh right, I have a couple ideas for some Tony/Pepper oneshots for the Iron Man fandom.

God. So, so many ideas. But nothing actually comes out.

UGH.

Actually, I have a bit of a rant about Iron Man, but I'll save that for next time. I've been meaning to write it up for a while but...eh. I'll get to it at some point. Anyways, Psych's about on. I should bolt to make sure I don't miss a second of the pure WIN I'm sure it will be.
